Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had real history and character, perfect for exploring The Yorkshire 3 Peaks. The rooms could do with updating and redecorating, but were lovely and warm upon arrival. The service was more than accommodating, with excellent ale and food options available. The location was good and quiet, ideal for access and near attractions like the Ingleton Waterfall Walk. The dining experience was outstanding in the morning with beautiful countryside views, offering a wide selection of quality options. The facilities were satisfactory, but the pricing could be more aligned with the value provided.
The hotel offers a comfortable stay, but some areas need improvement. The rooms need a bit of maintenance, and the lack of card payment in-room can be inconvenient. On the positive side, there is access to the outdoors through emergency doors when needed.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed bag of experiences. The rooms were clean, but a bit chilly and could use some updating; however, they did provide good value for the price. The service was excellent, with very helpful and polite staff, well-informed about local attractions. The location was fantastic with beautiful surroundings but had a slight issue with a damp smell. The dining options were very good, offering a variety of choices. The facilities were just what I needed during my stay, despite a few minor issues.
